The Nest thermostat is a smart device designed for usability and learns what temperature you like and builds a schedule tailored to you. After a week of use it programs itself. Designed to save energy and money on your heating and cooling bills, the device will program settings on how you normally adjust your temperature. You also have the ability to adjust the temperature from your phone in case when random events take place.
To help you fine-tune things, Nest shows you how much energy you have been using to help you adjust your settings to use less.
For convenience, there's an option to invite members of your household to connect to the Nest via the app. The Nest feels well engineered and the app works well and is intuitive. Also love the feature displaying the weather or the time as you pass by.
