Ray-Ban Smart Glasses
Facebook has announced the launch of Ray-Ban Stories, which are smart glasses that allow you to record images and video, share your travels, listen to music, and make phone calls while staying connected to friends, family, and the world around you.
Ray-Ban Stories, created in collaboration with Facebook and EssilorLuxottica, will be offered in 20 style combinations online and in select retail outlets in the United States, as well as Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
The two inbuilt 5MP cameras in Ray-Ban Stories allow you to capture life's moments in real time from a unique first-person perspective. Using the capture button or hands-free with Facebook Assistant voice commands, you can simply record the world as you see it, recording photographs and up to 30-second films. When you're shooting a photo or video, a hard-wired capture LED illuminates to alert those close.
Ray-Ban Stories' three-microphone audio array provides richer speech and sound transmission for calls and videos, and streamlined, open-ear speakers are integrated in. Beamforming technology and a background noise suppression algorithm deliver a superior calling experience comparable to that of dedicated headphones.
